Après des études en sciences politiques aux universités de Lausanne et de Paris, Nicolas Bideau a réalisé un diplôme d’études approfondies en sciences sociales à l’Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales de Paris et à l’Université de Pékin de 1995 à 1998. A l’issue de ces études, il a travaillé en Chine comme consultant auprès de plusieurs entreprises. En 1999, Nicolas Bideau est entré au service du Département fédéral des affaires étrangères (DFAE) comme collaborateur diplomatique pour la Direction politique, auprès de la Centrale à Berne, ainsi qu’à l’Ambassade de Suisse à New Delhi. En 2003, il a été nommé collaborateur personnel du président de la Confédération Pascal Couchepin. En 2004, il a pris la direction du Centre de compétence pour la politique étrangère culturelle du DFAE, avant d’être appelé à la tête de la Section Cinéma au Département fédéral de l’intérieur (DFI). Depuis 2011, Nicolas Bideau dirige « Présence Suisse », l’unité d’organisation chargée de la diplomatie publique au sein du Département fédéral des affaires étrangères. En 2012, le Conseil fédéral lui a octroyé le titre d’ambassadeur. En 2018, il a obtenu un certificat de l'Institut international de développement du management IMD en stratégies de marketing numérique.

Lilitt Bollinger

Architecte, Bâle

Lilitt Bollinger, geboren 1970 in Zürich, studierte zuerst an der Fachhochschule für Gestaltung in Basel und gründete 1997 zusammen mit Cristine Strössler die PROGNOSE Taschenmanufaktur, welche sie während 10 Jahren als Designlabel, Produktionsstätte und Experimentierfeld führte.
In einem Zweitstudium studierte sie von 2007 bis 2010 an der ETH Zürich Architektur und arbeitete anschliessend in Basel bei verschiedenen Büros.
Sie gründete 2013 das Architekturbüro „lilitt bollinger studio“, welches seither mehrere Preise für die gebauten Projekte gewonnen hat. 2019 wurde sie in den Bund Schweizer Architekten aufgenommen.

Lorette Coen

Journaliste spécialisée, Lausanne

Lorette Coen est essayiste, journaliste et curatrice à Lausanne et à São Paulo. Elle travaille notamment dans les domaines de l'architecture du paysage, de l'urbanisme et de l'architecture. Entre autres ouvrages: «As cores da urbanidade / The colors of urbanity» (2017). Elle a présidé la Commission fédérale du design (2001 - 2008). En 2020, elle a reçu le Prix de l’éveil dans les domaines de l’architecture et du paysage de la Fondation vaudoise pour la culture.

Nathalie Herschdorfer

Directrice Photo Elysée, Lausanne

(1972, Suisse) est commissaire d’exposition et historienne de l’art et de la photographie. Elle a été nommée à la direction de Photo Elysée, musée cantonal pour la photographie (Lausanne, Suisse), en 2022. Auparavant, elle dirigeait le Musée des Beaux-Arts du Locle où elle a exposé de nombreux artistes, notamment Henri Cartier-Bresson, Stanley Kubrick, Vik Muniz, Alex Prager, Viviane Sassen, Hiroshi Sugimoto et Andy Warhol.
Très active dans le domaine de la photographie contemporaine, elle a été invitée à organiser de nombreuses expositions dans différents pays. Elle enseigne l’histoire de la photographie à l’École cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL) et est l’autrice de plusieurs ouvrages, parmi lesquels Corps (Fonds Mercator, 2018), Mountains by Magnum Photographers (Prestel, 2019), Le Dictionnaire de la photographie (Éditions de La Martinière, 2015), Papier glacé. Un siècle de photographie de mode chez Condé Nast (Thames & Hudson, 2012) et Jours d’après. Quand les photographes reviennent sur les lieux du drame (Thames & Hudson, 2011).

Jo François Taillieu

Architecte, Gand et professeur associé EPFL, Lausanne

Jo Taillieu is a Belgian architect and professor of design at EPFL. Since 2004, he has been at the head of jo taillieu architecten.  

After studying at the Faculty of Architecture Campus Sint-Lucas of the KUL (Ghent, BE) and at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (Dundee, UK), Jo Taillieu worked at Maxwan architects (Rotterdam, NL) and Stéphane Beel architects (Ghent, BE). From 2001 to 2007 he was active as project director at Stéphane Beel - Xaveer De Geyter architecten (Ghent, BE). His responsibilities included the design and realisation of the university buildings for the Faculty of Economics and the main building of Ghent University. Jo Taillieu was a partner at Jo Crepain architects from 2007 to 2008. 

The practice of jo taillieu architecten evolved in 2009 to a collaboration with Jan De Vylder and Inge Vinck, with whom he has been leading the office architecten de vylder vinck taillieu for 10 years. In 2018 ‘advvt’ won the Silver Lion for Promising Young Participant at the 16th Biënnale of Venice and was one of the five finalists for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2019. Since 2019 Jo Taillieu shifted the focus to jo taillieu architecten again.

In addition to his practice as an architect, Jo Taillieu also lectured at various national and international universities including the University Ghent (BE), KUL Ghent/Brussels (BE), the Academia di Architettura di Mendrisio (IT), TU delft (NL) and the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam (NL). Since 2014 Jo Taillieu has been teaching at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (CH). In 2019 he became associate professor at EPFL. He also lectures at international institutes and conferences.

Robin Winogrond

Architecte paysagiste, Zürich et critique invitée Harvard University, Boston

Robin Winogrond is landscape architect and urban designer in Zurich, Switzerland. She is currently teaching at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, while practicing internationally on projects, juries, lecturing, teaching and publishing. Her interdisciplinary background, reflected in her projects, ranges from built urban space and installations to concepts for large and small-scale open space. She was resident artist at Stuttgart Academy of Art, holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture and Bachelor’s in Urban Design.
Her projects express the site specific, poetic potential of residual, suburban and urban sites, transforming their inherent identity and contradictions into potent narratives and experiences. Central to all projects is her work on Geographical (Re)enchantment, atmosphere, imagination, the phenomenology of experience, environmental psychology and activating social space.
She is co-founder of Studio Vulkan Landschaftsarchitektur, where she was partner from 2014-2020.
